About

Chengcheng Yao received his B.S. degree in Automation from Changsha University of Science and Technology, Changsha, China, in 2011. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Center for High Performance Power Electronics at the Ohio State University, Columbus, USA. From February to July 2011, he was an intern at the R&D Center of SANY Corporation, Changsha, China. From May to August 2013, he worked as an intern at the Research and Innovation Center of Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan.

His main research interests include semiconductor based galvanic isolation, MHz power factor correction, characterization and modeling of semiconductor devices, electromagnetic interference and power module packaging.
