Cong Li received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA in 2014, and the M.S. and B.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
He joined the General Electric Company – Global Research Center (GE-GRC), Niskayuna, NY in October 2014 as a Power Electronics Engineer in the High Frequency Power Electronics Laboratory. His current research interests include power electronic circuits and their applications in the renewable energy area, modeling and application of thermoelectric cooling technology in power electronic circuits, and wide-bandgap device applications.
Dissertation Topic: High Frequency High Boost Ratio dc/dc Converter with Wide Band Gap Devices for PV System Applications.
