About

Damoun Ahmadi was born in IRAN in 1981.  He received his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, IRAN in 2005. During that time, he worked on different control algorithms for AC motor drives and applying Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices for reactive power compensation. He graduated with PhD degree in Power Electronics from the Ohio State University in June 2012.  His research is focused on multilevel inverters, renewable energies for smart grid, intelligent and optimized power tracking for automotive battery charging, power electronic circuits, HIL and DSP control applications for high power systems and distributed generations.
